My Story

You want to know what makes me tick? This is what I’m about in my life and in my role as your minister:

Firstly - To submit humbly to the Lordship of the Father, Son and Spirit, listening for his voice and direction and doing all he asks of me.

Secondly - To use all God gives me to love, serve, nourish and disciple his people that together we embody Christ and make disciples of Christ who make disciples of Christ. -> and what do I always try to remember ? to make a name for Jesus not for myself. Just as well God answers prayers like: God help me!

I believe that God has called me to the ministry and role of Senior Minister at St Luke’s Cockatoo and Gembrook. He wants me here. If He didn’t want me here I wouldn’t be even considering it as an option. It means everything to me because I want to live every day doing what God wants me to do. I’m very excited to be making this transition to living in the hills despite the inevitable packing and upheaval that moving house means.

I’m looking forward to living in community with you and fully expect that God is going to be restoring, healing, blessing, standing with, setting free and resurrecting in the lives of many people.

I was really encouraged by the words that were shared by various people at the 40th Anniversary service [Mark flicked me the link for the YouTube] Especially what was said about praying and listening and following Jesus’ lead every day.

Please pray for Gra and I, as we uproot our lives from Mill Park and come to put roots down in Cockatoo and Gembrook. Pray for yourselves, and your neighbours, friends and families also - wondering and looking to God to see what he’s about to get up to in your lives. We’re looking forward to journeying with you together in what God has for us.
