Hills Community Strengthening Initiative

In it's ninth year, this award-winning mentoring and family support program works in partnership with Cockatoo Primary School to help young people who are struggling. The goal is to build community by helping families and young people navigate through the most difficult parts of their lives and to equip them to make healthy and constructive life choices.

HCSI has three programs:

Jitterbugs are playgroups for the parents of 0 to 4 year olds in the Cockatoo community. There are two playgroups that run weekly during the school term:

    Tuesdays 9.30am - 11.00 am

    Wednesdays 9.30 am - 11.00 am

Call the St Luke's office 03 5968 8459 for more information. New members welcome! Please bring a fruit snack for your child.

Kmotion is an after-school activity based program for primary aged children conducted over six week blocks each school term at St Luke’s Church in Cockatoo.
