Christopher's Connection - May

Hello Friends,

I hope you are staying warm and cosy as the days get shorter and colder. The month of May is the last month of autumn. Autumn is the season when leaves change colour and fall to the ground. Each season of the year is beautiful and has something very special about it.

There are seasons in a person’s life as well. Seasons of joy. Seasons of sadness. Seasons of learning and growth. Even seasons of change. Can you notice the different seasons in your life? God is the one who brings the seasons of life to love and teach us about himself. God will be with us through all seasons. Even when we don’t feel the presence of God, know you are not alone. Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us of this.

A Time for Everything

3 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, 3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, 5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, 6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, 7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, 8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

Whatever season you find yourself in this May, know that the Creator of the universe cares for you on a daily basis. Pray for me as I pray for you through the season you are in.

Blessings

Revd. Christopher.
